Hey, I wanted to apologize for getting so much wrong, and thank you for being civil in correcting me. I would have expected to be screamed at and called a fake jew (again), but you've been calm and helpful and I really appreciate that. I also wanted to ask, as someone who really isn't as connected to their heritage as one should be before talking about it, would it be better if I just took down the post? I don't want to tread on any toes, even if I do belong in the community (if distantly).
You would expect to be screamed at and called a fake Jew for having incorrect information in your brain? That genuinely makes me sad. Yelling at someone never enlightened them. And knowledge isn’t what makes a Jew.
Are you talking about the first post you made, with the details about Chanukah? I don’t think it’s a matter of treading on anyone’s toes, so much as being careful not to spread misinformation.
Heads up, they did not clear the ferg tag, they posted it as "nsfw". There's a little lock somewhere you can click so see it all, I think. That post was corrected by someone later. :D
ooh, thanks!
I was gonna send "Kicking someone is not a form of romance" because I read it as "licking". Do either.
Scylla: i tHink you mAy be mistaken. perHAps you are not doing it rigHt?

hyperscraps replied to your post:glasses aren’t covered by our new insurance noo...
My current problem. We’ll be getting a costco card soon, hopefully, and I think their member’s clinic is cheaper. I can tag you when I inevitably post about it when I figure it out if you want!
we probably won't need new glasses for a while now, so we'd probably just forget once it was relevant. it's just, since we're gonna be a student here for at least five more years, it's no doubt going to become relevant at some point.
i'm just weirded out by the fact that eye exams are covered as medical, but the "treatment" of the condition discovered by the exam (our shitty eyesight. 20/200 huzzah.) isn't covered.
i mean our insurance is more fantastic than our last one for psych things so we're overall more happy with it. :V

hyperscraps replied to your post: The good thing about drawing early for...
You can put things in your queue for a specific date and time! It might help you be less anxious to know that they’re all typed up and ready and will post on their own when it’s time.
Such is the plan~ The temptation is to just take one or two and post them early and attempt to draw new things in their place. Perhaps if I reach a good point, I'll do that. For the time being though, I'm trying to remain resolute >\\\< Especially so since I aim to make another song post for Christmas (looots of drawing); hopefully one that will make more people cry than the last.
hyperscraps replied to your post:every so often I think about getting a piercing,...
have you seen my face. You can play with your piercings as much as you want after they’re FULLY healed, and you’re careful not to tug or put weight on them too much. Twisting, licking (for oral piercings), or just feeling, are all ok.
I feel like we probably would though, hah. Like we have dermatillomania (sorta. We consider it more a stim but y'know) so weird bumps on our skin instantly become sites of "scratch squeeze pull getoff". Who knoooows, though. o:
