I am bored at work and quite literally the only person in the office because of the holiday, so I couldn’t resist drawing this little frame of our boy from the new rouge agents comics!
I don’t draw often by any means, and I haven’t really drawn much at all since middle school. Maybe I’ll get back into it! I am decent at replicating images and styles but I don’t really have my own art style. Because of that I don’t really like sharing my art since it doesn’t feel like it’s my own thing. Digital art is also a huge mystery to me.
Aside from my little rant, I hope you guys enjoy these doodles!! 💕 If any of you are artists and want to share you you developed your own art style, I would love to hear!
i rly like the characterization of greev in the new hyperspace stories comic because it's finally very visible how performative is his "mwahahaha im so edgy and evil" persona
it's so obvious how much hes in denial and how much he HATES himself actually because he hates weakness. And more importantly he hates HIS weakness.
i know he's mentally not even there anymore, he just doesn't want to admit that hes basically already dead. that hes in fact weak. that he failed.
seriously this is deadass the most relatable character in all fiction to me. i know where it all comes from. believe me or not i KNOW where it all comes from, and it all came from the huk war. I'm a bit busy and sleepy to write a huge ass thinkpiece on how he's still pissed about that whole ordeal but trust me bro. hes so fucking realistically written and knowing his lore it becomes obvious.
for those who dont know him, he's just a villain doing and saying villainous things, but for those who know his backstory, it's a whole damn holy grail for analysis.
