We were so excited to have found these Hypersthene comfort stones also known as worry stones. Hypersthene is a uncommon mineral that we wish we saw more often. If we ever see it, it is mainly in tumbled stones or cabochons, but on this rare occasion we have them in polished worry stones. The flash or sheen you are seeing is almost metallic looking. You can sometimes see a striped pattern. These are available on our Etsy store: https://etsy.me/2WQdW1T - - - #hypersthene #worrystone #worrystones #chakrastones #crystallover #crystalline #crystallovers #pocketstone #crystal #crystals #calmingstone #etsylove #etsyfind #etsyfinds #etsyaddict #healingtools #healingstones #healingcrystals #healingenergy #grounding #rootchakra #boulder #bouldercolorado #handsofspirit (at Hands of Spirit Gallery) https://www.instagram.com/p/Bxll53XBQij/?igshid=7x6xctbzlm98
Hypersthene cabochon - Brazil
The past 2 days I have seen a lot of confusion over Larvikite and if it is Black Moonstone. The answer is NO! Also, Larvikite is not Black Labradorite, even though it has the schiller (flashes) similar to Labradorite. I personally find it easier to see stones side by side to see the difference. Here is the confusion, Hypersthene is sometimes called Velvet Labradorite due to its color. It is not a Labradorite. Larvikite is sometimes called Black Labradorite or Black Moonstone. Again, it is neither of these. Here they all are side by side with Black Moonstone and Labradorite. They are all amazing stones! Which is your favorite to work with? #CrystalGuidance #StitchesAndStonesKC #crystalknowledge #crystalhealing #healingcrystals #crystals #stones #Hypersthene #Larvikite #Moonstone #BlackMoonstone #Labradorite #Feldspar #crystalsforsale #isellrocks #commonlyconfused
Hypersthene is a gemstone that has a silvery metallic sheen. This bracelet uses natural black hypersthene with lively silver color reflection, giving this piece an understated look with plenty of details.
