so there's the obvious he's abusive/controlling yadda yadda character flaws but everyone knows that already. so let's go meta. and idk how to word this but. here goes. really hate what bl3 tried to do with childhood's end. like. of course in bl2 we always knew what he said about angel was bs and lies to make himself sound better, to justify to himself why he did that to her. but it was the not knowing for sure how much he was lying that made it interesting. and sad. so then giving us canon recordings to sort of... well it almost felt like they were trying to justify jack, by canonising that she really did kill her mother, as if to say see, he was telling the truth! he was right!

and maybe that's not what they meant to show with that, but it really feels like it. the way it was handled still pisses me off honestly.

WELL as answered in my previous ask, i'm a little biased to loader bot lol... but i do love how blands has so many great robot characters. and i'm so very fond of claptrap too... mostly for being relatable as a severely bullied disabled character. [ pauses. simmering barely contained fury at the writing direction he's been forced with. stares off into the distance. breathes. ] lol. anyway. there's also gortys of course, who's so cute and sweet you can't help but love her, and dumpy, poor little guy trying his best. and fl4k is the best playable vh bar none no contest because i get so much gender euphoria running around as them with the archivist skin (and loader pet, the best pet, who vaporises everything in seconds).

so.... hum. no i can't choose. they're all great 💙

step one: rebuild jack with a new-u. step two: strap him into his big stupid chair. step three: do not stop beating him with the butt of conference call until he is a fine paste and the blood and viscera runs across the floor into the waterworks of his big stupid opulent office and the statues are crying blood as some sorta metaphor for his cruelty or whatever. step four: repeat.

(love him as a fictional character but oh. if he was real he's basically the muskrat. so. infinite pain and death and nothing less.)

38 a character you wish you could play as?

really wanted ava to be the playable siren in bl4 :/ literally vex has a pet and everything, should've been ava instead. why not give us ava, grown up and more mature ("less annoying" or whatever). she could be putting that training maya gave her to good use, should've been playable but got cut from the game even as an npc lol. lmao. annoying.

it's one of the few skins that actually looks decent on the pet loader. also looks good in blue to match the maya gun skin.

hi, hiiiii!!!!! *[The ask game!] to be completely honest? its her design. its underwhelming compared to both her concept art and other hyperion tech within the series. she looks too small, if that makes sense. what is supposed to be a restrictive metal harness is vacuum sealed onto her character model and imo theres no real sense of weight to anything on her. everything's a little flat, aside from the thickest eridium port over her shoulders. the layers of the suit just dont make much sense to me either. its fine, i like the shapes of it, but its not really anything beyond that.
