Thandiroq retrieved the box filled with the newly crafted armor and made his way to a clearing far enough from the gates and walls of Stormwind, to meet with Hypnosus. “I’ve gotten everything I need, but I would like to ask one more favor of you, if I may?” Hypnosus stared blankly at Thandiroq for a brief moment before a smile crept onto his face. As if he knew something that Thandiroq himself did not, “You wish to stop by the tavern first. But for what reason, I wonder?” He said the last part in a sarcastic tone. Thandiroq sighed before he let out a chuckle and began to walk towards the tree line of the clearing, so as to give Hypnosus plenty of room to freely transform in.
Numerous times now he’s seen the Kaldorei body his mentor wore shift into his true form, and every time if took his breath away. The magnificence and power that could be seen in the body, the wings, the tail and the massive claws. But the most humbling and truly amazing sight was Hypnosus’s face, his eyes beamed with knowledge, compassion and a hint of the herbs he had been smoking a few hours ago within Stormwind. Even as you looked upon the toothy maw of his mouth, you would be compelled to smile as it gave no sense of dread or danger, only a gentle smile of its own. Thandiroq had learned much since he started his training with the Dragon Hypnosus, how ‘human’ Hypnosus appeared, even in his true form, to the Kaldorei, his eyebrow arched as he went over that last thought. Is that even right? Is it he that looks so human or is it we that resemble the dragons? The Dragons were here long before the Kaldorei, even the trolls that his people had descended from. Is it so far fetch to think that we could have learned something from them at such a young age?
Thandiroq chuckled as he entered the clearing once more, the crate hefted onto his right shoulder, walking towards the massive form of Hypnosus. “Yes, to Dragon Heart Inn first.” Thandiroq climbed onto the back of Hypnosus and positioned himself in a place he knew he could be safe at, even while holding onto the crate. “I owe a promise to someone that has been put off for far too long.” There was a job soon, but before the guild would have to prepare and set off upon it, there would be enough time for Thandiroq to make a trip from Dragonblight back to Howling Forjd, by foot this time. Crystal had been patient, surprisingly so, and now it was time for that adventure he had promised her even before he set out from Stormwind in search of the very Dragon he now rode upon. Thandiroq smiled as he watched the lands below quickly pass beneath him. “Hopefully it will have been worth the wait.”
