Thinking into Rez's character
He would 100% be a aroace. Like, he doesn't seem like the type of guy to enjoy such activities or even romance. Romance would get in the way of his work and even thoughts, and for the sex thing, why would he of all people want to procreate? That's gross positive things.
Ignore the infection being his children in some aspects, that's different.
This is why I changed Pollux and Rez's relationship in the rewrite, it makes sense for Rez and even Pollux's character. I feel like if he were to get into a "relationship" he'd want something out of it, something useful to him. It never is genuine tho, as I stated before, transactional.
Rez literally just wants to work constantly and worship Faith. That's it. He's pretty boring and annoying to deal with, delusional even. That aside, I want Leo to have a friendship with him that will slowly grow, maybe get him out of his shell a little bit.
Maybe even help him get away from the cult he is trapped in, maybe tell him that it is a cult (Leo is a part of the cult, though he is less deluded than Rez.)
It would be fun to have Rez get dragged around by Leo in a fair or something, he'll be disgusted but hey, at least he's in the sun.
