OCtober, day 13: Purple
"Neeex! Nex, I found a lead!" Beth let out a breath of relief as the village came into sight. Watakayiu was a downright beautiful place, nestled beside the biggest river around and protected by a thick, winding forest. Opposite the river was a sheer cliff and plateau. Out of sight, she heard a waterfall.
Perfect place for some illegal activity in the mines. Suspected illegal activity, but hopefully Nexus could help. She just had to find him first.
The trail to the village was made of smooth rocks. She looked around the first road she came across. The place, while gorgeous, was a maze, and with everything so old and made of stone and overgrown, there was no hope of finding the temple they'd parted at.
Hyriam was so uniform and easy to navigate. She wished she'd asked for a map.
"Oh!" She spotted the nice old woman who's happily greeted them. "Ms. Iknam!" She was a sweet old lady, with her hair in tiny braids that framed her face. Her handmade dress reached her ankles.
"Oh, hello, Beth!" She smiled as she hurried over. "How did you like the forest?"

WBJ Day 25: Art
Art is very scarce on Imenia and Ausaia, given that the inhabitants are mostly four-legged animals.
However, that wasn’t to say it didn’t exist in the past.
Ahzuke, the Hyriek goddess of fire, had a passion for the arts. If one were brave enough to go inside Ahzulai, the great volcano, one would find very intricate carvings on the walls, illustrating myths, legends, and daily Hyriek life. All were carved by one very bored goddess.
Ahzuke especially loved plays, though she was rather picky about the plays she liked, and the people of Hyriam knew it. The people believed that if the play was terrible enough, Ahzuke would cause a volcano to erupt, so they sung this to appease the goddess and flatter her into liking the play better. A lot of plays, in fact, depicted Ahzuke’s victories and made fun of any who blasphemed her. This song was sung at the intermission of every play:
Shari, shari, shari (kindle, kindle, kindle)
Shari sys ahzu (kindle the sacred fire)
Ahzuhekra, ahzuhekra (goddess of sacred fire, goddess of sacred fire)
Omus, shari sys ahzu (yes, kindle the sacred fire)
Nahmi Ahzuke (hello Ahzuke)
Nahmi Ahzuke (hello Ahzuke)
Mekrun mon ik (we sing for you)
Some reported seeing a mysterious cloaked woman in the audience of some Hyriek plays, with eyes like pits of fire and hair like blackened ash. Others reported seeing a jackal as black as embers watching from the jungle.
