okay admittedly i haven’t read the demon child trilogy, so the only thing i have to go off of is “red haired” and “looks kinda young” but this is how i imagine r’shiel, just based off how she acts

For anyone who enjoys high fantasy or just enjoys Game of Thrones (the show or the books), I can’t recommend Jennifer Fallon’s Hythrun Chronicles highly enough. I read them first in high school. And reread them. And again. And am going to reread them again this summer, especially now that I know there’s a third trilogy being published in this fantastic set of stories.
Written second but set first, The Wolfblade Trilogy of The Hythrun Chronicles stars Marla Wolfblade. Basically, if you ever wondered how a force to be reckoned with like Olenna Tyrell could develop, this is the heroine for you! (Also if you enjoy Sansa Stark’s arc of political maturation.)
The second trilogy (but written first) is the Demon Child Trilogy, and one of our protagonists is Marla Wolfblade’s son, Damin. It’s a romp of magic, prophecy, the meddling ways of gods, and war. Oh, and some romance, some of which is (unfortunately) inescapable, particularly when the Goddess of Love decides she likes you; it can be such a burden.
