Seok was so hungry that evening that he was quite thankful for the fact that Hyun-hyung had left the precinct early and they would be able to meet up at their favorite Korean restaurant by Central Westwick for dinner and drinks. Shion was with his mom for the night, which was alright and he understood, but there wasn’t a single day that went by that made him wish he would’ve asked Sara to stay. Shaking his head as an attempt to drive these thoughts away from his mind, Seok let out a sigh as he sat down and ordered himself a beer as he waited for his brother to arrive. His stomach was growling, and since he knew Hyun would probably be hungry too, he took upon himself to place their orders.
It didn’t take long for Hyun to arrive, and although they had been taught by his parents to do so and his years living with his grandparents solidified that habit, the two men didn’t exactly bow anymore. Seok bowed his head to his hyung and his superiors, but that was pretty much it. “Hyun-hyung, hey.” Seok-li said in their mother language, since that was pretty much the only way they communicated when they were alone. “I’ve ordered us some japchae and some samgyeopsal. Hope you’re hungry. How was work?”
