this is a collab revolving around language of flowers; Floriography. popularized during the victorian era to express (forbidden) feelings in acts of silent dialogue where flowers symbolized different meanings from deep love to disdain.
it's an event for writers — everyone 18+ who would like to join is welcome to do so. this collab is not mutuals exclusive and you do not need to follow me either!!

── ❀ open to all fandoms — only for x reader. ── ✿ no word limit — sfw / nsfw / dark content is welcome. ── ❀ you may only pick one flower so choose wisely. ── ✿ when posting your fic please say that it's for this collab ── ❀ tag me @cloverbbun to make sure i won't miss it. ── ✿ the deadline is December 31st of 2026. if you need a reminder in autumn please let me know.

── ❀ pick a flower from below and send me an ask to let me know which one you claim. ── ✿ each flower can only be claimed once so there won't be doubles. This works on a first come, first serve basis. (I will let you know if your flower has been picked already). ── ❀ your asks won't be published as I reply privately.
the list of flowers alongside their meanings is below — it's a rather long list sorted alphabetically. if a flower is claimed, there will be an indication for it.
you may incorporate the flower and its meaning in any and all ways, you have full creative freedom on how to use the flower / the meaning.

Okay, so, to create a bookmark, fold up a piece of paper, and I bring it with me when I Storywalk. Wherever I end up in the past, whatever "chapter" I'm in, I just draw the symbol on the paper and leave it there. If this works, when you pull me out, the symbol I drew in the past will also be here on the paper in the present. From that point forward, whatever point in the story I want to visit, like the chapter right before my father was killed... I write it here, in the folds, fold it back up, cross the threshold, and that's where the bookmark'll take me. If this works, this changes everything.
You ever join a fandom and it feels too good to be true? Like, so far (and I mean so far), there's no racism or total bullshit. Everything seems swell and dandy, but you're still completely on edge. Because of the history of racist fandoms, you never know when things are gonna pop off, so you just quietly watch.
That's exactly me right now after rejoining a fandom I loved when I was younger. I'm literally just looking around waiting for the other shoe to drop, because people apparently can't be fucking normal about Black fans and Black creators for five seconds.
