aaaaaa it's so good to see you and Swift again!! i hope the two of you are doing well~~ asdlfkjasd;f and i got the update email for Toshinoumu while i was at work and got so excited! i'm gonna reread the entire series again and am so pumped lasdkfjas;ldkf

It's so good to see you again too!! I haven't been on Tumblr in years and was a bit afraid it'd be like a deserted wasteland but I'm seeing so many familiar names 😭😭

The hiatus was really rough on us but we've been writing and brainstorming every day for the last month! Gotta keep it up!! It's so refreshing and days are going by so quickly now that we have the I am... series back in focus!!

Can't believe that since the last update, @swiftwidget and I got engaged, bought a house together, got married, and *just* celebrated our first wedding anniversary last month. We also have four cats and a dog. We only had one of each when the last chapter was posted 😂

hello! i have a question about toshi's devour quirk- and admittedly im only halfway through the series so my apologies if this is answered later!- but since its an acid that can eat through most things, and lets toshi eat metal, could it effectively take the place of his missing stomach? i mean, he'd probably have to still eat small meals because its just an acid sac and not like...a place where food can be stored as it breaks down, but wouldn't it functionally be the same?

Yes! The stronger acid does aid in digestion, contributing to better eating habits and healthier weight gain. The double-edged sword being that he gets nasty heartburn now and again.

The “I am...” saga continues! And continues to be amazing and leave me a sobbing wreck at the end of each chapter. After reading that one part in Catalyst I needed some art therapy - it was *supposed* to be a tiny little thing.

It just... escalated after that.

Did drawing this only make the pain worse? Yes. But at least I figured out his weird wonky legs.
