Wait people still defend Finn? I noticed he got a lot of increased ( but deserved) critisicm and hate the last 4 years ( I’ve been in glee fandom since start I kept track because his fans ganged up on me 😂) which is good but he still has a lot of defenders left? Then again why am I surprised puck still gets defended a lot…

Oh wow a veteran, huh? You've seen it all then, I'm sure it's nothing new. You can check the Glee subreddit for a sudden Finn defense thing but I cannot in good conscience actually recommend that you do look.

I guess it's only natural that an action, anti Finn stuff, would get a reaction and some counterbalancing. People basically parrot what the show was saying (crucially not showing), that Finn's a good person who just makes mistakes. To that I say what @thomas-the-goat-of-satan has pointed out before via that one Bojack quote. Maybe there's no "deep down" and he is what he does.

I do find it interesting though when Finn and Puck pop up in the same convos, whether that's anti or defense squad stuff. They're on very different levels to me and imo the Puck defense stuff can be justified at times. But that's another can of worms.

Given how often Patroclus is portrayed as black (most famously in the Hades game but even fanmade designs go for it even me) the funniest possible thing Fate could do is add him and make him white because I cannot imagine anyone with a brain ever acknowledging that decision
