Why is figuring out your godly parent so hard..?

Im still not sure if im a demigod but I've had no luck in my endeavors. Beside the feeling that when I say 'I am a demigod' I feel as if I know for a fact. I am one.

My friend has the gut feeling of my father being Hades

But it doesn't feel right to me, makes my head feel weird, a weird pressure that hurts. Maybe it is right and im just gaslighting myself

My brain keeps wrapping back to lord poseidon, but that makes me seem like a pick me I feel. Though my connection to water might be what calls me to him

The sea and ocean feel as if they run in our veins

But i dont want to anger him with my question as what if I am wrong

But lord hades hasn't given me anything

Any tips would be appreciated../nf
