━╋ not gonna hide myself, Wattpad raised fucking warriors man. idk about the english side of it, but the Spanish side?? fucking brutal💔 you had to like post a 10k-15k chapter of your story EVERYDAY just to keep getting views/likes, and you'd only get like 50 likes a chapter and like ONE OR TWO COMMENTS😭
i still remember being 12-13 and writting my ffs in class when the teacher wasn't looking (we used ipads to work) just so i could keep my followers fed and loyal.
plus everyone was so mean too💔 like ZERO MANNERS, zero fanfic etiquette, demanding new chapters the second a new one was out and demanding it go exactly how they wanted it...
so glad to be out of the trenches, Tumblr is so much nicerrrr. a single comment in this godforsaken hellsite is better than 1k likes on the orange one, i tell you.
plus THAT's kind of the reason I pump out ffs so easily, or more than fanfics just drabbles and stuff. because at least here I get positive reward from it, like someone rebloging with absolute nonsense in the tags drooling over the character or getting actual genuine praise/criticism referencing my portrayal of the characters or a phrase they liked!!
so that is to say, don't ever feel bad for flooding my inbox with many requests at a time as long as you are polite about it, and don't worry about me being a workaholic (writerholic? fanficholic?) when it comes to fanfics or pushing myself past my limits because this is easy peasy compared to the hell I went through in wattpad🙏
