Dude i quit playing Lads like a few months ago n only decided to redownload it just for valko only for them to just straight up cancel his launch altogether like ive genuinely never seen a company react to hate in such a childish and unprofessional way like not even hoyoverse has reacted like this before(truly infold is setting new records rn, how to set your fanbase ablaze n shoot ur own company in the foot record) and the worst part is that even despite that NO ONES HAPPY
Most global players r unhappy with valkos sudden cancellation after theyve literally went on record a few days ago reassuring players that they wont get rid of valko just for them to do exactly that n ive seen alot of cn players also unhappy because of seperate issues relating to the use of 731 that apparently hasnt been fixed or properly addressed yet
And now theres a big divide in general in the fandom between those who wanted valko n those who didnt want him so now everyones unhappy
And thats not even talking abt how this will effect the ingame story and the longevity of the game due to them not adding ANY new LI anymore
Plus all the people who worked on him for at least 6 months, the VAs like jun kasama who just YESTERDAY tweeted abt how happy he was to join the Lads team (which tbh shows how last minute this decision was cuz wdym not even a full 24 hours after his tweet infold tweets the announcement) n even how they got his trailer to play on a billboard in TIMES SQUARE just for all that to?? Go to the trash ig
Like atp im hoping that this is just engagement bait because this is so unprofessional n srsly makes players esp global players lose trust in this shitty ass company man
N seeing all the haters petty ass posts abt the situation like sylus n caleb didnt also get hate for basically the exact same reasons as valko when they were first announced is so gross
All in all i think valko is just being used as a scapegoat for infolds actual problematic behaviour and that infold needs to get their shit together before they lose not only the global fans but also their cn fans because of their weird ass behaviour rn (they literally put #LADSvalkocancelled at the end of their announcement like wtf)
