tiny hc’s ... while im awake enough to think abt them ...
i . dmitri has defined , sharper - than - average canine teeth . not terrifyingly so , he isn’t an animal , but if you were to give attention to his mouth for some reason it’s definitely noticeable if you know what you’re looking for
ii . because he can’t taste worth a damn , he likes foods with really distinct textures or consistencies . i think in a modern au he’d like boba tea because it’s a mix of solid and liquid and the ball things are squishy and he’d o: ! but in canon it’s just . whatever feels real neat-o in his mouth , for the most part .
iii . he loves animals and they flock to him not entirely unlike snow white . at the monastery he has a habit of feeding the strays that live around there and letting them sleep in his room during the winter when it’s absolutely freezing . his favorite ( domestic ) animals are dogs , but cats are a close second and truthfully there’s not many living creatures he can honestly say he has a dislike for .
iv . in relation to the above , dimitri is 100% a ‘ dont kill it i’ll take it outside ’ person in regards to bugs . the man would pick up a spider the size of his whole ass hand without batting a lash and calmly place it somewhere outside and think nothing of it .
v . he knows how to play several instruments though he isn’t overly enthused about any of them . he likes listening to violins , however .
vi . he drinks tea every night before bed , specifically chamomile . if he doesn’t , he literally will not sleep at all despite his best efforts .
