I miss when my phone's Internet worked like my computer's Internet. And I could hop in my web browser (yes, in, like it's my little spaceship) and we could go visit all my favorite websites.

Yes the layouts were often inconvenient and annoying, but for the most part, my mobile browser could navigate its way all around the interwebs. All was well and the angels sang.

But now. Now I can't travel around. My little spaceship runs into dead ends. Every website wants me to download their app. No more can I visit them, they want to move in with me.

They want to live in my phone forever and ever and honestly, I just don't want the commitment. This was a casual arrangement and they're really not respecting how much I need my own space.

My phone's memory is for cat pictures. I do not need all of their extra baggage (spyware.)

i was going to go to a speed dating even tomorrow but it got cancelled because it seems that, like me, other participants didn't notice it was superbowl sunday when they signed up and too many withdrew so i got an email this morning saying they were cancelling but i could choose a future event and have my name added to that one

AND GOOGLE HAS A FUCKING MONOPOLY ON APPS WHICH IS JUST TERRIFYING. IF I WANNA DOWNLOAD A PROGRAM I CAN JUST FUCKING DOWNLOAD IT FROM ANY FUCKING WEBSITE I FUCKING DAMN WELL WANT TO BUT EVERY SINGLE WEBSITE REDIRECTS TO THE FUCKING GOOGLE STORE FOR THE GODSDAMNED DOWNLOAD.

BUT I CAN’T DOWNLOAD IT FROM THERE BECAUSE IT’S STILL TRYING TO GASLIGHT ME INTO BELIEVING THE PHONE IN MY HAND ISN’T REAL.

AND I FEEL LIKE FUCKING SISSYPHUS STUCK ON ROLLING THE APP-BOLDER UP THE GOOGLE STORE HILL JUST TO BE RUN OVER BY IT AGAIN.

i got a bluetooth app controlled temperature controlling coffee mug as a gift because i definitely have a huge problem with needing to reheat my coffee like four times a day even when i use thermals but man i can’t help but think somebody’s gonna like, hack my coffee.

I found a workaround to let me screenshot posts without the share panel getting in the way, and I'm not telling ahahahaha
