Finding out AI companies are chewing through - literally, they’re pulping and burning them as they go - millions of books often including 1/1s and old texts that cannot be reprinted
Meanwhile there’s always some dipshit telling me AI is the future and we’ve got to just let companies erase human history and literature so they can train their abomination machines to pretend to think like people because a judge said it’s fine
AI companies are buying and scanning printed books for training data, raising copyright and cultural preservation concerns as rare volumes a
What in the god damn…. This Last Place guy is gettin’ on my nerves…
There's a lot of fun things happening with the plotz bit that I didn't notice until I looked closer at that page. The plastic snowman and the foot-heads are my favorites

What did you think of the ‘Murder of Sonic The Hedgehog’ April Fools game?
I did a blind playthrough for my Youtube channel! I loved the level of lore, it was exactly what I wanted from a Sonic game and more. But I found the final THINK minigame way too long and infuriating.
I'd like to see more games in this vain, with the characters just hanging out.

Evolution and Evolution 2 are two of my favorite JRPGs but spoilers I wish they would stop taking away my healer in the final dungeons!!!

Taskmaster US - Cast Pitch
Taskmaster: Weird Al Yankovic
Assistant: Brennan Lee Mulligan
Contestants:
Ayo Edebiri
Kel Mitchell
Ian Hecox
Lisa Gilroy
Steve Carell
Team of 2: Ian and Steve
Team of 3: Ayo, Kel, and Lisa
Further thoughts:
This is just my fantasy casting.
The one that was most obvious to me was Brennan as the Taskmaster's Assistant. That role is the heart of the show and sets a tone for the series. Alex Horne is a strange little man with a lot of quirks and a rigid adherence to the rules. Tom Cashman is charmingly pathetic and will do absolutely anything without fear of looking foolish. Paul Williams has an air of a depressed office worker that you want to root for. All three of these bring their own talents and personalities to their unique command of authority. Brennan I think would bring a level of eagerness and earnest excitement, appealing to both comedy nerds and people just wanting to laugh, and his work as a DM will help with that rules adherence and authority.
For the Taskmaster, I really wanted an icon of the comedy business, someone who's familiar with hosting and is not afraid to be critical of their fellow comedians. But my brother is convinced that Kermit the Frog is a bad idea, because Disney. Weird Al is someone very well respected, and as a creative genius and satirist, would be well suited to the task of comedic judgement. Plus, he has lamented the collapse of the monoculture, so why not invite him to participate in it. Another great idea floated was Drew Carey, but he seems satisfied with game show hosting at the moment. Similarly, Craig Ferguson would be very funny, but then the show might get dismissed as "just some British thing". A friend suggested Desi Lydic but I'm not so sure that a political comedian is a good fit for figurehead. When I suggested Kermit tho, they countered with Triumph, which also tickled me.
For the contestants, I wanted to pick comedians of different age ranges and styles. Lisa Gilroy was my anchor pick; I want her on some version of Taskmaster regardless. Ian Hecox is similar in the west coast improv arena, but a totally different and drier humor. I wanted to pick some veteran actors and comedians. Michelle Yeoh was the first I thought of, but I think Steve Carell would be very good with creative tasks. I then started thinking about All That, and Kel Mitchell's appearance on SNL a couple years ago reminded me of how goofy he could be. I also wanted a young comedian, but I don't really know any. Arasha would be a great fit but I really wanted Ian. Then I thought about Taylor Ortega, then Jenna Ortega, and then thinking about SNL hosts, I remembered Ayo Edebiri. That's how it went. Demi Adejuyigbe and Jessica Williams should be cast at some point as well.
For the teams, I just want to see the dry interactions between Ian and Steve. I think Kel and Lisa would be funny together as well.

Can someone in Britain please forward this to Mr. Alex Horne? Thank you
That's PART of why it's a TREAT because I DIDN'T have to make it. 😤 (No Hate to anyone who makes their treats) 🫂
