Sissy’s Masterlist
CT-Cassa: Zee’s First Morning Run with Wolffe
A cautionary tale in suffering, betrayal, and sore thighs.
Wolffe: “Meet me outside at 0500. Wear shoes.”
You thought he was joking.
You hoped he was joking.
You wished he was joking.
He was not.
🕔 04:57 – The Darkest Hour
You are half-asleep, bundled in a hoodie three sizes too big (don’t judge. It’s comfy.), clutching a caff thermos like it’s a life support device. Your leggings are inside out. Mephisto glares at you from the window with the air of a cat betrayed. Everyone got the picture that you are not a morning person nor a runner.
Wolffe is already there. Stretching. In shorts. Looking like a military-grade punishment with legs.
You, blinking: “Is this hell?”
Wolffe: “Hell’s warmer. Start jogging.”
🕕 05:15 – Betrayal
Your lungs have filed for emancipation. Your legs? Numb. Your soul? Missing.
Wolffe’s running like a tank on autopilot while chatting. CHAT-TING.
“Breathing’s off. You’re heel-striking. Fix your gait.”
You, gasping like a wounded bantha: “I… don’t know what those words mean…”
Behind them, a small squad of 104th clones trails quietly, also running. One offers you a thumbs up. Another mutters, “She’s doing better than Fives did.”
You wheeze, “How is this better?!”
Wolffe: “He puked on my boots.”
🕠 05:30 – The Existential Crisis
You are convinced you died. The light is fading. Or maybe that’s just the streetlamps. Your caff is long gone. Your bun is falling out. Your body is 70% regret, 30% resentment.
Wolffe, entirely unbothered: “This is the halfway point.”
You: “Half? You mean we’re not done? What war crime did I commit to deserve this??”
Wolffe, dryly: “You moved into our building.”
🕕 06:00 – Aftermath
They finish. Somehow. You collapse on a bench. Wolffe hands you a protein bar and water. He nods once in approval, the highest honor you‘ll ever receive from him.
You are too tired to speak.
He offers: “Same time tomorrow.”
You: “Not unless you literally drag my corpse here.”
Wolffe: “…Noted.”
(He will.)
💬 The Building Reacts
• Rex: “Wolffe took her out running? Brave man.”
• Cody: “She lived?”
• Fives: “She looked like she saw Kamino again.”
• Tup: Gives her a pastry and says, “I’m proud of you.”
• Wolffe: “Good cadence. Might keep her.”
You now pretend to sleep in until noon the day before every scheduled run. Just in case it makes you immune.
Spoiler: It does not.
Just woke up and feel like literal garbage omg. I’ll be fine in 5 minutes once I actually leave my bed tho 😝💋💕
not proofread
It’s the blinding, morning sun that pours past the curtains, and into the bedroom that wakes him from his slumber.
The duvet was thrown off to the side during the night when it got too warm, a gentle pressure on his chest as it rose and fell with every intake of breath he took through his nose.
It was peaceful, quiet; no unpleasant thoughts swarming his brain. No sound of distant gunfire, or shouting he could make out within the comfort of his apartment, the four walls he called home.
Ouch my neck
So fucking hungry but if I put food in me I’ll probably just reject it 😔😔💔
Years of sleep deprivation. No intention of fixing it. Might turn schizophrenic atp.
