Does anyone have any tips for making money at home? My company furloughed 13 stores two weeks ago and while I've filed unemployment, my husband and I need more income to make ends meet. I am 21 weeks into a high risk pregnancy, and on pelvic rest with weight restrictions. So it complicates what kinds of jobs I can do, as well as just my chances of getting hired anywhere. Work from home jobs would be first choice for obvious reasons, but I'm honestly just wanting to share the load again so my husband isn't carrying the brunt.

Oh also my mother has been living with me for 6.5 weeks while my father is trying to regain his health and strength with physical therapy. So that's added stress and responsibility and needing to be home, as she needs physical help throughout the day due to suffering several strokes. If I wasn't pregnant and bloated like a whale, I'd honestly think of making an onlyfans just to try and bring in something..

My kids birthday party is this Sunday, her actual birthday on Monday. Luckily that's already all paid for. But somehow we're supposed to host Thanksgiving on Thursday... and Christmas is in a month... and oh yeah I'm supposed to be able to provide for this new baby come March. I just don't know what's the best route to take and it's so frustrating.

Edit: I am actively looking into jobs, I'm not just sitting on my ass. Being home for two weeks straight without working is honestly making me go crazy. As much as I'd love to be a stay at home mom (even the hubs wishes I could be), we can't financially make it work with just my husband's income. My brother lives with us and he is truly a great help, but I can't take all his income just bc my (former) employer is tanking. I'm just hoping someone has advice for something I can do to bring income until I can get hired somewhere.

Basically, quirkless Izuku gets a vibe check early in life when he realizes that his mom is really struggling to survive after his father walked out (no I'm not projecting onto him shut up-). Through middle school he slowly comes to the realization that capitalism sucks actually, especially when you are or are related to someone quirkless.

The sludge villain incident happens relatively as normal, only this time after rescuing Katsuki he fucking snaps at the pro heroes on the scene, then goes home without running into All Might. He does a bunch of research on pro hero scandals, losing that hero fanboy mindset as he goes along, but also does research into vigilantism and pre quirk media, discovering an ancient European pre quirk tale about a figure who robbed the rich and gave it back to the poor and needy.

Now he's on the streets as the vigilante "Robin Hood" who robs corrupt heroes and politicians and then uses that money to preventatively stop crime (donating to homeless shelters, giving it to various community centers for addict recovery programs, etc; he'd also stop any crime he happened to come by on the way to and from heists). He may or may not collect various other teenagers in his band of Merry Men all while Izuku dodges around telling Katsuki what he actually does all day (yes Kaachan's the Maid Marian stand in fight me).

TLDR; Quirkless Izuku becomes the vigilante "Robin Hood" thanks for coming to my TED talk-

quirkless + vigilante midoriya who gave up on the hero system IS my fave trope, i’m not even joking. and this au??? this is just godtier!!

i have a thing for midoriya snapping at the heroes during the sludge villain incident. to set up the mood, i’d like to just unpack that scene for a bit.

ok sure there are many things that probably happened behind the scenes during that incident, such as them calling for more equipped reinforcements to take down the villain, but i think that they should have also done more for bakugou. like at least buy time to ensure he wouldn’t suffocate or, idk, strike a deal with the the sludge villain because their priority shouldn’t have been apprehending him but should have been saving bakugou. so imagine midoriya thinking the same thing i did. the torch he carried for heroes have dwindled over time and this was the breaking point.

imagine him growing up, accepting that sometimes the society just turns its back on you because you’re quirkless. imagine him thinking that there are certain thresholds only the quirked individuals would ever get to cross. imagine him thinking that being a hero really is only for bakugou and not for him. then-

then midoriya sees this powerful and strong individual who he kept looking up to at the hands of the same villain who also almost killed him, choking and panicking because the heroes are not doing anything. he thought that heroes only do nothing when you’re quirkless, but apparently they also do nothing to people like bakugou. bakugou who has a perfect quirk and a smart mind and who’s so so young. bakugou who the heroes aren’t even helping.

and midoriya snaps. he snaps because heroes do nothing to everyone. he thought he was the anomaly because of his pinky toe and everything, but no. the hero system is just fucked up. so as he ran towards bakugou and hurled his bag on the eyes of the villain, he thinks the hero system failed us but i will not. and he thinks i will not be a hero because i do not want to be like them. and he thinks i am here.

and so he saves bakugou and the heroes berate him for-? for what? for doing their jobs? he laughs maniacally and goes off. he spills his anger, spills the way it took a puny, quirkless middle school boy to save the day, and people are watching. people are watching the way he is screaming and opening his heart and pouring and pouring everything he never would have said, and the heroes are silent. they are silent as they listened. all of the them were.

people filmed this exchange, posted the videos they took online and then even more people listened to him. and midoriya sees this huge response and support; he sees the way people agreed with him so it helped him push his plans forward.

and so he does many many research and opens up several cases against slimy heroes and billionaires, and boom, he’s japan’s robin hood.

OK BUT we can’t have vigilante midoriya without dadzawa. LOVE ME SOME DADZAWA. and maybe parental tsukauchi because i love these two just trying to help this little vigilante who is too angry at the world who failed him, but never fighting the world back. they care for their little vigilante who shouldn’t be awake at the crack of dawn, busting out villain groups upon villain groups on his own. they care for their little vigilante who is becoming too popular.

so popular that even villains are looking for him. and maybe there would be an altercation between the LoV and midoriya, and who else would save him if not for dadzawa (and tsukauchi)?

also i’d like to imagine that bakugou too was moved by midoriya’s explosion of a speech. he’s taken aback and goes “huh, he’s right.” so he tries bridging their relationship back and midoriya always loved his friend so he accepts AS LONG AS bakugou does not cross him. because even if the hero system failed midoriya, as long as bakugou, who’s willing to change, still wants to become a hero, then there is hope in changing the hero system from the inside. to reshape it to how it should be.

and so bakugou enters UA and is more open (he’s in therapy) to everyone compared to canon (although not as much, still), and almost has a heart attack when aizawa pulled him aside one day, in the middle of the term, and asked if he knew who robin hood is. of course bakugou’s a master liar so he says no but aizawa is squinting his eyes at him.

also imagine: midoriya recruiting shinsou (they’re apparently from the same help group and they met up one night when midoriya saved shinsou from middle school bullies who cornered him and berated him even if he’s already in UA) and bakugou accidentally recruiting hatsume because she saw that someone changed some of his hero gear and she wanted to meet the smart genius who did it (it’s midoriya).

so midoriya’s circle grew from bakugou to now with the addition of aizawa, tsukauchi, hatsume, and shinsou.

(it probably would expand more because midoriya would stumble on this juicy information about the number 02 hero, endeavour but that’s for next time!)

about the sanders sides valentines video

I couldn’t help but think about how... forced all the flirting scenes with Valerie seemed.

with Logan, there were no feelings involved. and yes, he is better at logic and facts than he is at emotions, but we have seen him express strong feelings, about crofters jam, about his reputation. he can get flustered and speechless and nervous. there’s no way that he would be able to walk up to his crush and just ask them out, all smooth and confident with a functional brain. yet... that’s what he did here. it seems like he’s read a book about (straight) romance or smt and based his idea of relationships upon that.

and roman. more feelings involved, for sure, but it was still very stereotypical. “brave prince saves beautiful princess from dragon witch, they get married and live hetero ever after! and they speak Spanish... for some reason.” like he based his idea of relationships on romance plays and movies, and not on reality. and yes, imagination is kinda his thing, but still.

now, Patton, he does write a poem, and it does seem sort of genuine. but... then he starts playing patty-cake with her.

and Virgil won’t even bother pretending he could ever like a girl

most likely, the sides were still sort of trying to pretend that they (and Thomas) liked girls, (if I remember correctly, Thomas wasn’t completely out yet back then?) but they had no idea how it was like to have a crush on a girl, let alone have a relationship with her.

in Embarrassing Phases, Logan says: “You with a girl defies all... me.” 

and in SvS, when deceit tells roman to “imagine a stereotypical relationship between a man and a woman,” to which roman replies “you lost me there.” 

yet, in this valentines video, they both flirted with a girl, so they obviously have *some* sort of idea of what a straight romantic relationship is like.

except it was just an act. despite how great actors they all are, (and how great of an actor Thomas is,) none of them could even pretend to like girls, not even for this very hypothetical dream scenario. because that’s how gay they all are.

(plus, that end card scene where virgil finally gave his two cents, but “accidentally” ended up flirting with roman instead? yeah... )

not sure where I'm going with this. Thomas Sanders and all his sides are hella gay, and none of them know how to straight. at all.

The reason I needed Sense8 to come back wasn't just because of the amazing representation and the unnerving cliffhanger that needed to be resolved. It's because the concept of a group of people being spiritually/genetically/universally connected in every single sense of life is part of what my stories are like. Sense8 brought to life a concept I couldn't even begin to plan out. For years I had been trying to convey how my characters were connected but words sometimes don't have the impact that visual representation does so...yeah.

1. What position would you like to play in Volleyball?

Definitely a setter. I just love that the setter is the “control-tower” of all the attacks so you really need to have a certain disposition for it. Like you really need to be calm and cool, and not get frazzled easily which I think kinda suits me well because I’m more of a thinking player. Also, I don’t have the stamina to jump around a lot, so yeah, I think I’d fit as a setter.

2. Pick any FOUR Haikyuu characters to form your friend squad with.

Oikawa, Tsukki, Kuroo, and Akaashi aka the Salty Squad.

3. Your roommate in college?

Sugamama. I’d feel like he’d be so fun to have as a roommate because we’d just gossip all night and help each other out on studies and chores, and other stuff.

Oikawa Tooru can punch me in the titties.

5. Which character resembles you, in terms of personality, the most?

Welp, this is tough because I feel like I’m a mixture of a lot of diff. characters but I guess the character I’m most like, by probs a measly 3% over the others, is Kuroo. I can be manipulative but for all the right reasons. I’m also salty but pretty polite to other people.

6. Which character inspires you the most?

It would probs have to be Hinata. The little ray of sunshine is the embodiment of determination, and I just love his drive to achieve his dreams and get better at the thing he loves the most. He’s greedy about volleyball because he loves it so much and he strives to be able to fight on his own, even when the others doubted him. But he perseveres and not only proves that he has what it takes to stand on the court, but in the process, inspires and stirs up the other characters (even his opponents) to do better. And that shit is absolutely beautiful, and inspiring, and I’m rambling, oh my god I’m so sorry.

7. Favorite character development?

Ennoshita, my beautiful son. I’ve loved him since I first saw him, and many other fans dismissed him as a minor character, but deep down inside, I knew, there was more to him than just being one of “the ungrateful second years”. So when he got his chance to shine in the Wakunan match, I almost hugged my laptop, crying. He is just so precious, and I love him to death. 

Give me Captain Ennoshita arc or give me death.

8. Prettiest character?

Sugamama is so pretty. He is the prettiest in the Pretty Setter Squad imho.

9. Hottest character?

Tetsurō Kuroo. Where do I find one of him irl?

10. Ultimate OTP?

I’d love to say IwaOi but I guess my ultimate would really have to be DaiSuga. They’re perfect. It’s so hard to choose because I have so many ships and I’m also drowning in rare pair hell, so there’s that.

Tanaka and Noya. The BROTP to end all BROTPs. Soy soy soy soy soy!

12. Favorite Stage Play Actor?

Kousuke Asuma!!! Like for real though, where the hell did they find him?? He IS Oikawa. The hair, the eyes, the face, the body, the height, everything. He was born to be Oikawa, and I was so sad he just got a few moments onstage during the first and second run. Here’s to hoping he gets more stage time during the next run (if he comes back because oh god, I don’t think I can take it if he doesn’t come back as Oiks).

23. What is your favorite anime? (this question was thrown in for us all to share another fantastic anime with the Haikyuu fandom~)

Ahhhhhhh this is so hard! I have so many favorites but I guess my ultimate would have to be Cardcaptor Sakura. I never get tired of watching it over and over. The characters and their relationships with each other are so adorable and beautiful and fluffy, and the story was so amazingly well written. I can credit this anime for being one of those that opened my eyes to LGBT relationships at such a young age which is so important in my upbringing (equal right for all genders!!). Actually, any work from CLAMP is amazing and I am 100% CLAMP trash so go watch it!!
