Headcanon that Bowser Jr. and Antasma absolutely HATE each other. As soon as Bowser and Antasma teamed up, they would not get along from day one. Antasma would hate Jr. as he is a arrogant, "weak" child and would dislike him thinking he was at a superior to the bat because he was Bowser's son, and simply because he is incredibly annoying and bratty. He would also feel Jr. gets in Bowser's way and makes him "soft" which concerns him that it may be a distraction for taking over the world. Jr. would hate Antasma because he is incredibly annoying and considers him "over-the-top"...Jr. sometimes feels annoyed by the fact Antasma is obsessed with Bowser and his power, even to a point of jealousy that his father is putting his trust in someone completely new, instead of him. Jr. also dislikes Antasma because he carries a cruel, nightmarish aura and at times, it TERRFIES Jr..

The two tend to stay out of each others way and only crossed paths when interacting with Bowser. Furthermore, after a scrap with the bat king, Jr. ended up venting to Bowser, resorting to telling his father to NOT trust Antasma...which may have been the influence for Bowser to betray the bat King.
