oh heavens, is that AARON FERRIER from SYCAMORE WAY i see roaming around mapleview? minnie may’s always calling them -SELF-ABSORBED & -IRRESPONSIBLE. i happen to think they’re not that bad! they’re a pretty cool RETIRED BROADCAST JOURNALIST and every time i’ve seen them, they’ve always been +CHARISMATIC & +GENEROUS. i hope i see them around again! @mapleviewstarters​

Aaron Thomas Ferrier was born in a small city in Central Wisconsin.  He’s got a twin sister named Abigail and three younger brothers named Adam, Alexander and Andrew.  His mother passed away several years ago, and Aaron goes back to Wisconsin and visits whenever he can. 

When he finished school, he moved to California and got his Master’s in Journalism from USC.  That’s where he met his first serious girlfriend Carrie and when they found out she was pregnant, they got married right away.  In the end they had two daughters, Lily and Daisy, and their marriage ended after only 5 years when Aaron got a job in Chicago and Carrie didn’t want to go with him, so he and the girls moved without her.

Aaron worked as an investigative journalist for 23 years and became a fairly well known figure in Chicago.  He enjoyed his job a lot, but the traveling and his high-risk lifestyle eventually took its toll on him and in 2017 he suffered a moderately severe heart attack.  He recovered eventually, but had to quit his job and was told to cut back on smoke and drinking, which really didn’t do, but he’s trying to be better.  He moved to Mapleview after he retired, he’s been there for about two years. 

He was a very devoted father, but his older daughter always struggled a lot and eventually she took off and rarely checked in with Aaron until one day she dropped her four year old daughter off with him and never came back.  Since then, Aaron has legally adopted the little girl, Lia, and now she’s nine years old.  She’s the most important thing in his world, but he always holds out hope that Lily will find her way back to them one day.  

Now that he’s retired, Aaron has a lot of time on his hands, so he spends a lot of his time focusing on parenting his granddaughter, but he’s also a fairly high-functioning alcoholic who’s got enough of a handle on it that he’s got a nanny for Lia and he works very hard to hide it from her.  

Aaron’s a super nice guy who’s always looking for friends or people to hang out with, he’s a very social guy who’s still adjusting to having a more low-key lifestyle.

          i know it’s honesty hour   ( i’ll be sending out questions soon, keep your eyes open 👀 )   but i just wanted to throw around a starter call   !   if there’s anyone who would like to write, depending on whether we’ve plotted or interacted before or not, like this post   &   i’ll put up a short / medium length starter. i don’t think i will have to cap this, but i’ll just say i won’t do more than 10 of these. also if you want to thread a specific plot or event, let me know :’)

Stepping into the small lavish room. The crown princess dress in a stunning red and green color silk kimono. From her ebony hair to her red lips, her hair and makeup were done perfectly to accentuate her beauty.  Ryuuzaki Kanako comes from a small but humble kingdom dwarfed by many. She’s one of the many noble families who is selected candidate to be the prince's bride. With their goal and aim to build a unified alliance with the powerful kingdom. 

Like many, the demon Aku has lay waste to many kingdoms including her own. Her country lost so many good people, including her father, who fought bravely till the end. Her mother soon dies shortly after, mourning the loss of her one true love, as the queen couldn't live in a world without her beloved King. With Aku gone, the crown princess works tirelessly to restore her once beautiful kingdom, but many obstacles stood in her way.

“Being a woman is a terribly difficult trade since it consists principally of dealings with men.”

Many of her ministers have a hard time accepting her to be queen, as it was a tradition, that only a man meant to rule the kingdom and not a woman. Compromise. They set a condition that she must be wed in order to claim her birthright. So be it. The raven princess took the opportunity and hope to be wed to the Prince Katsurou, the man who restore balance to their world and destroyed the demon, Aku. That would certainly 'shut' her minister up, as her bodyguard, Noburu spoke. Only, if the princess of the east manages to 'bag' the politician marriage.

Entering the room. She was taken by surprise when the man approached and bowed his head before her. His pleasant smile caught her off guard. Making her blush slightly at his handsome feature, as he looks rather dashing up close.

"The pleasure is mine..." She bowed her head in a dignified matter in return. "Yes, I do, Katsurou-sama. Your name is well-known far and wide. Known throughout other kingdom and land, of the man who brought balance to our world and defeated the demon, Aku." Bowing her head once more. "I am humbled to be in your presence..." No words cannot express the young woman admiration and gratitude towards the man. Lifting her head as he asked for her name. "I'm Princess Kanako, daughter of Matsumoto Ryuuzaki, crown princess of the eastern clan." Bowing her head yet again.
