Aside from having admired and been involved with Ruffles' whole Darkfus stuff - parts of it being very memorable! - it must be said I just enjoy how he conducts himself. He feels like a very 'real' character, grounded mostly in your skill at emotes and dialogue. So I'll say that: he's very believable.

AAAAAA thanks! I did enjoy writing a lot during the Darkfus saga. Sometimes when you just randomly think up ideas, you should definitely see where they lead! Sometimes it’s real fun! We live in a post-Darkfus world now, but I like where Ruff is at in his life right now. I’m really excited to see what shenanigans ShB brings!

AND ALSO AAAAAAAAA SOME MORE THANKS. I have a habit in RP to really try and convey my character as closely to the world-standard as I can. That usually makes my characters a bit... boring, I guess? It’s just the way I enjoy to RP.

 A few years before Hephaestus made his way to Mount Phoenix 

The god had found his life rather intriguing. He rather liked this whole idea of being hot and getting things to go his way without even working hard for them. As someone who rarely had the chance to be like this back on Olympus, the god was rather satisfied. Of course, if he was anyone, he’d find his wife and make her incredibly jealous of what he was now and rub it in Ares face but he would rather explore and vibe around. 

He’d tied his hair up as he’d explored the surrounding area, climbing up hills and walking around, memorizing eveyrthing. He really loved museums and old shops with their weapons collections. He could appreciate great craftsmanship. So of course, that was how he’d ended up running into a demigoddess child with an innate skill in weaponry. He’d ended up in the wrong place and while trying to find his way out, he’d ran into her and immediately began admiring the handiwork of her axe. “This is stunning. The metal flows smoothly, meeting the handle in an ideal. The delicate handiwork in the designs! Stunning example of metalwork!”
