☆ KHR headcanons ☆ Part 3

✿⁠ Shopping with Chrome Dokuro is so easy. She never grabs anything unnecessary, checks every label, and always finds the best canned meat on sale. Ken, however, still can’t tell them apart from the dog food he used to buy by mistake.

✿⁠ M.M. accidentally taught Fran a few choice French swear words after catching him using her "scrap paper" to light the fireplace. When Fran looked confused, M.M. snapped that it was actually her private collection of vintage Vogue issues.

✿⁠ Kakimoto Chikusa managed to score free groceries at the self-checkout multiple times just by scanning the barcode on his cheek at least until a clerk finally caught him in the act.

✿⁠ Superbi Squalo didn't exactly appreciate Lussuria’s Christmas gift a giant shark kigurumi, but he did promise to wrap Lussuria in it instead of a burial shroud.

✿ Xanxus watches TV with the volume muted and his eyes closed. The voices annoy him, but the flickering, stupid faces on screen annoy him even more. By the way, that TV is hooked up to the Varia HQ surveillance feed.

✿ Adelheid Suzuki forgot her school pass a few times and had to "speak a language they understood" to the Discipline Committee guards to get into class. Later, she had to explain to the nurse exactly what happened to those guards.

✿ Tetsuya Kusakabe carefully hid his collection of Wi’s fairy tales in a private locker, right next to two parachutes and a hammer. If the Boss ever finds this dirt, he’s breaking the glass and bailing out the window with his books.

✿ Shoichi Irie walked past the Sawada house twice. By the third lap, he decided watching "Twin Peaks" on DVD with his sister was a mistake. He circled the house two more times. This anomaly continued to haunt him even 10 years later.

✿ I-Pin got a new prescription for her glasses. Even at 8, she philosophically noted that while she sees the world more clearly now, she still can't see any "people" in it. The th*gs in the alley she wandered into were sent to the ER for "re-education."

✿ Enma Kozato considered himself a fundamentally unlucky guy: three sprained ankles in a week, four stubbed toes, and a spilled lunch. He changed his mind after winning a mall lottery, dismissing the fine print about the terms as just a decorative pattern.

buddy daddies/khr crossover where miri introduces her new girlfriend i-pin to her papas, and it isn't until like a month later that they find out that the big brother she's always talking about so fondly is the leader of italy's most powerful mafia family (the way they find out is when a hitman shows up targetting i-pin, and the next day an apology gift basket shows up at their door, stamped with the vongola crest)

I have small headcanon that if Chrome was written into a Daily Life Arc, one of her running gags would be that if you got her to wear a uniform or something that associates her to an event or person, she will unquestioningly follow whatever is going on. I have more sketch ideas like this, I will post soon.
