yeah ofc! here are some, but i have more :) this is all ya, mostly fantasy. but let me know if you’re looking for something else.

the diabolic by s.j. kincaid: uhmmmmmmm i lov this book and more people need to read it! the world building is awesome and it has romance, politics and powe, sci fi and like everything you want!! A+

a court of thorns and roses by sarah j maas:i read the first book a few months ago and thought  it was pretty good but i’m currently reading the second one annd love it. dark fairies!!!!!!!!!!!! and like faires in general?? amazing

the young elites by marie lu:: the protag in this book is amazing. not your usual ya heroine but the hero sort of turns into a villain. love it so much! set in a world like renaissance italy but with magic and shit. 

shadow and bone by leigh bardugo: dark fantasy!!! also alot of power dynamics and politics. set in a world like tsar russia. this is so my aesthetic. this is also a trilogy 

the darkest part of the forest by holly black: probably what started my current obsession with fairies!! set in a modern day small town whose people live close to mythological creatures like fairies and such. idk how to explain it but the writing is beautiful and the story really inspiring.

one of us is lying by karen m mcmanus: set in a high school where a student dies during detention. and the rest of the students that were in the classroom are all acused of murder. they’re high school sterotypes like the jock, beauty queen, bad boy and good girl but th book is rally clever and i really enjoyed it. 

the disreputable history of frankie landau banks by e lockhart: one of my fave ya books!!! the protag is like 14 but i read it when i was 21 and really loved it. set in a boarding school and its like really funny and clever and exciting.

why don’t i see tumblr talk more aout the book girls made of snow and glass by melissa bashardoust?!? it’s the gay snow white retelling we’ve always wanted! the romance is not the main story but a big part. the main focus being the relationship between snow white and her stepmother. great elements like mother/daugher relationship, power, good/evil, magic, romance, choosing your own destiny, coming of age etc etc. you’d all love it!

Things you should watch on youtube

(because I said so)

The Lizzie Bennet Diaries : a contemporary adaptation of Pride & prejudice, in vlog form. It has made me go "awww" lately, more than any kitten ever will. The plot adaptation is also very interesting. Plus it's nearing its end so you should catch it before it's over!

Don't forget to check the side vlogs when they appear in the timeline: Lydia's (they made Lydia into a character you care for! And boy, do I care.), Maria Lu's (Charlotte's sister), and Georgiana's (Gigi is so pretty it's ridiculous. Can you not, really.)

Becoming Youtube : It's deep. No but seriously, it's way more interesting than I initially expected. It'll show you a side of youtube you may not know about if you only go there for the music and the occasional cat video. You may then find yourself looking at various youtubers video and finding a few that suits you!

Plus the last one was 30 minutes of John Green making sense (which may be a bit of a pleonasm). I would advise you to watch the vlogbrothers videos but they have over a 1000 so... if you have a lot of time on your hands, maybe? Or you could just start watching the new ones as they come.

The Super Amazing Project : Dan & Phil tell you about... weird and random stuff. It's entertaining. Especially if you like Dan & Phil (but why wouldn't you?). The channel doesn't have a chronological playlist though =/
