Unexpected Chapter 18 I Told

I get out a half hour before she does. I wait in her( our?) car for her. I am relieving the day. Joe was just the first. I told several mates about my new relationship and with who. All respond with varying degrees of shock but all offer their support. I have some grand mates. I smile broadly lost in the memories as Gillian slips in.

“I hope that smiles means you are thinking of me.” She cheekily says. In answer, I take her lips in a breath stealing kiss. “Hmm, I missed you to hen.”

“I was thinking about you. Us and my mates reaction to us. I told, you see, a bunch of my mates.”

“Very nice. Your smile must mean…”

“Yes, they all are quite chill with it.”

“Excellent.”

She starts the car as I rest my head on her neck. “My Claire.” Said with deep affection.

“Did you tell folks?”

“Nae, I wanted too. Badly but.. Well mon ghraid, I wished to make sure you were alright with it. As you are, I will tomorrow. I swear it.”

“You are so sweet.” I answer, as I kiss across her neck.

“Iffrin! Please Claire let me get us home safely before you do that.” I grin and stop, just resting my head and breathing in a scent that is purely Gil. Purely my loves. I sigh. “I love you leannan.

“I love you darling.”

We get home and drop our books and stuff off. So much needs done. The flat needs a though going over. There is studying and laundry. But we are both to needy to do any of that just yet. We fall on the bed.
