Clearly your mom doesn't know what it means to be a parent. Yes, parenting is difficult, but it doesn't mean they can just make a comparison with another family's child. From one view, they might as well say they fail as a parent because they think others had it easy when it reality child care is more of a responsibility than a "let's have a kid and expand the family".

Don't take their words to heart, buddy. Keep on being yourself and continue your own journey. If you ever want to vent, go ahead. But don't let it tie you down. Like Bluey say, cry and then pick yourself up. The show must go on.
