Tony Stark and Peter Parker will continue to live in future marvel movies for multiple reasons. If they are trying to parallel Thanos and Tony then having Tony save the universe for his son (peter) and continue to be there for him would parallel Thanos never really being there for Gamora and then sacrificing her life to destroy half the universe. Furthermore marvel is an entertainment company that tells stories about superheros. With everything that Tony Stark has been through it would be a disservice to his character for him to die.
