I'm beast
So I wasn’t offered a permanent position at boys and girls club. In fact, everyone BUT ME was offered a position. I was angry and heart broken. They were even keeping this one twat that can’t handle kids over the age of 8. She even screamed at a child at one point. Her kids are regressing because they are throwing fits now and no one likes her. So I might have sent the guy that runs all bagc in Nevada an angry email. Demanding to know what I did wrong and why I wasn’t chosen to stay with my kids. After I worked one on one with most of these kids and got them to change their attitudes on life, I wasn’t going to continue to shape their futures. And pretty much told him off and left my number for him to call me. Well after he read my email that night, he called my boss and told her he wanted to meet me. So he came out to my clubhouse JUST to meet me. As soon as he walked in the door he was asking for me. I hid inside the lunch room eating and waiting till I was summoned. My coworker told me to smile because I had a nice smile. Then my program director came dancing in pushing me towards the meeting room. So I held my breath and march forward. What’s the worse that he can do? Fire me again? When I walked in, he smiled. He said my full name and shook my hand. He asked me to have a seat and said that I had a lot of guts to email him the way I did. That most people just call it quits when they aren’t offered a position. That I did nothing wrong. He apologized for not being able to see my performance with these children. He had no idea why I wasn’t picked, but he didn’t mean to hurt my feelings. As I’m looking at this 6 foot 6 300 pound mass giant, he tell me that he’s going to get emotional. That what I did took a lot of balls. Not everyone emails their boss a mad rant the way I did. He said I'd like to offer you a position here at Kish. That he made a position just for me. If he could give me a raise he would in a heart beat. That if a higher position opens and I’m interested, to email him about it. He’d see what he could do. My heart swelled at all these opportunities laid out in front of me. When I got out of the meeting I ran into the cafeteria screaming i get to stay!! Kids smothered me in hugs and coworkers rejoiced. Kish is my home and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
(Ps I also put in my two weeks for walgreens because all my managers got fired and I’ll get more hours/money from bagc then I could ever at walgreens. Oh and I got another write up? Like what the dick.)
