I cannot express how tired I am of straight people telling me my queer readings of media "probably don't mean that" or "could just mean *ordinary cishet scenario*".

I tiredly called out one of my friends on it and he's like "I respect your reading I just have my own" and when I told him he's offering the same standard reading every other person does, he was like "I have my own take". Nope. Sorry bro. Absolutely bog standard reading of this scenario, no depth or varying perspective to be found.

You can have your straight reading, absolutely, but it is fucking boring.

Also the nip grafts are being difficult and had to be debrided today. Didn't feel great, but. Whatever has to be done to ensure they heal 🤷🏻

I've seen posts that claim people only hate Shannon because of sexism. Maybe.

But I'd also argue it is sexism that so many defend her too.

If a man abandoned his young disabled child and severely injured wife in the middle of the night, gave no contact or money in support for years, came back only because of a school wanting an interview, sleeping secretly repeatedly with said wife while claiming to really be back for the kid, confronting the wife at work, then asking for a divorce after a pregnancy scare before dying, would you also forgive so easily?

My villain origin story continues with the fact that 

1) we got to see tiny Max at a skatepark, but BILLY ISN’T THERE. (what a waste of a scene.)

2) and we never got to see a single happy Billy memory. I wanted that to be the ultimate trump card. 001 kept using Billy against her but I wanted her to have a solidly GOOD memory with him and USE IT.
