And like and like -- ok I'm not telling details or anything like that by saying this - they KNOW what the fans want & this movie was the perfect amount of fan service like.....UGH listen ok just listen. SO many other inferior franchises (I mean....everything in the world is inferior to Scream we been knew but..) almost condescend to or make fun of their audience. Scream has always been a love letter to slasher fans & particularly SCREAM fans. I just think one big reason I have never felt let down by any piece of Scream media ever is that it ALWAYS feels like the creators are speaking directly to us, the fans. you could just feel the love for the Scream fandom in every second of this movie. the self aware schtick is annoying EXCEPT when it's done the specific way that only Scream has ever gotten right <3
