Remember that supposed Bomberman game based on the Stitch! anime that people in the Anglosphere thought didn’t exist?

Yeah, well, it turns out that it totally existed. 💣🤯

Bomberman: Disney Stitch Edition (ディズニー スティッチ ボンバーマン) was released on August 2, 2010 as a free mobile game for NTT DoCoMo’s i-mode mobile internet service in Japan.

As the Bomberman fan site linked above states:

The alien Stitch (from Disney's Lilo & Stitch) takes the role of Bomberman in a timed score attack challenge. You must destroy as many crab enemies and soft blocks within the time limit; Bomb Ups and Fire Ups can be found inside soft blocks, redesigned to fit the Hawaiian aesthetic.

Scores can be submitted to an online leaderboard, allowing you to challenge high scores from across the country.

The game was published for free on i-Mode platforms under the DoCo DeMo Game (ドコデモゲーム) banner; its name is a pun on DoCoMo, a Japanese mobile phone service.

Unfortunately, I don’t know how to be able to play this old and odd crossover spin-off mobile game here in America without resorting to finding and ordering a compatible phone on eBay and trying to get a Japanese-exclusive phone service to be able to access this game. I am also unable to find any videos featuring gameplay, so these few screenshots are all there is to see.

If anyone out there does have gameplay and video footage of this game, or knows of a way to get access to this game and the i-mode service on a computer or smartphone, then please do share! (And quickly, too! The i-mode service will be shut down in March 2026! 😰)

theyre actually soooo fucked up if you look at them from the 'rory killing herself is the canon route' perspective cuz like . imagine leaving your reality after a really bad breakup and you think you wont allow yourself to be vulnerable ever again and yet you meet someone whos maybe just as fucked up as you are and you two are kinda like the only people who can rely on each other and maybe you end up falling for them but in the end it just doesnt go anywhere anyway because they end up taking their life from circumstances that were way out of your control yet you still tried to prevent . maybe your attempts werent exactly the best or the most helpful but you still really tried to reach out and help them any way you could and yet it was all for nothing in the end . im unsure what id do with myself if this was me it tears me apart SO BAD

anyways i think they should just go frolick in a flower field or something Thatd be much better

IT TEARS ME UP SO BAD. Vella literally could not have a worse time and it is actually so devastating. like how do you manage that how are you supposed to deal with your vulnerability being torn out again how do you deal with grief when this entire reality is about to end? you had something with that person and you used to comfort yourself with the thought that even if reality ended, he would be by your side, but now he isn’t. theres countless of realities that have been destroyed, and will be destroyed, including the very one youre in, but this one singular life was one that could have brought you the happiness you’ve been starved of and suddenly his absence is all that seems to matter.

you don’t believe in fate or cosmic plans. those frivolous concepts didn’t exist in your reality. but just for one moment, when you’re attending his funeral, you wonder if all of existence has something against you and your love.

but yeah they should be sooo happy and they should bathe in sunlight and kiss so sweetly <3
