Leading up to The Pitt Gift Exchange we wanted to highlight some of our⎯and your⎯favorite creators in the fandom, as well as some you may not be familiar with! Today we'd like to introduce you to @i-mushi.

A talented writer in a variety of fandoms, i-mushi has recently been bit by The Pitt bug and we couldn't be happier! She primarily writes spicy 'reader x' fic featuring everyone's favorite ER cowboy, Jack Abbot.

Below we've spotlighted a couple of our favorite fics of hers.

Erynion and Maddie

She came to me with a photo she found and was like “This would be perfect for Erynion and Maddie if the hair colors were different…” and me being the diehard Erynion/Maddie shipper that I am was like “Say no more.”

Thanks for giving me yet another excuse to draw my OTP (though let’s be real, I hardly needed one. Have you seen the amount of art I’ve made for these two over the past 10 years?). 😌

I panicked.

Completely panicked.

I’ve had breakdowns before, but this was something else. I cried and screamed, I was suddenly so full of anger and energy I ran in circles, tripped and fell, yelled at the sky and myself, and basically went completely insane for about ten minutes. Afterwards, when I’d calmed down a little and didn’t quite feel like sprinting off blindly, I felt better. I’d worked out the initial craziness, and I felt like I could be logical again.

I was still fully dressed, not even groggy from sleep or a kidnapper’s drugs, and still holding my plastic grocery bag. I was in grasslands without any sign of a road of even tire tracks, and definitely no towns on the horizon, not even smoke. Luckly I seemed to be totally fine. Unharmed (except for the throbbing knees and hands, but that was my own fault when I had my meltdown), but totally alone.

I was either insane or the butt of a really tasteless joke.

So once upon a time, in like 2014, I made this character progression fanart for my favorite GiME fic, Home With the Fairies by my girl i-mushi.

Well a year or so later I tried to redo it but never finished it, as seen here, before I eventually lost the file when my computer crashed a couple years ago.

So here I am almost 8 years later redoing this shit properly (now that my skills have significantly improved).

So everyone go read that fic (especially now that everyone loves Tolkien stuff again because of The Rings of Power show coming out this year)! I demand it!
