If I had a nickel for every time Indominus Rex was mistaken for a real dinosaur, I'd have two nickels.
Which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice.

out of all the things she could run out of, it has to be beer. not just any beer, but a specific brand of the yeast-ferment malt-flavored alcohol that she’s craving for. she supposes she could get one from dutch’s, but she isn’t much in the mood for socializing. she’s just about to admit defeat and go to sleep sober when she spots the unmistakable form of a 6-pack resting comfortably inside a shopping basket. she glances around, and then shrugs. “don’t mind if i do,” she says to herself, just about to grab for the pack.
Indominus rex from Jurassic World, reimagined as more of an allosauroid or a megataptoran, although still keeping some of the more monster aspects (thumbs, only quill knobs, osteoderms, etc.).

okay so I just saw Jurassic World and did anyone else think they were not only leading up to a sequel, but also that the I. rex was spliced with human genes?

Thinking about it, the Cloneasaurus from Jurassic World could also be called "Rextwo" a la Pokémon clone naming conventions.
