i've been working on some random composition ideas that stemmed from heavily modulating a drum beat

i realised i could use the same techniques on synths and let them just go wild within a certain range

i had to program all the rhythms by hand and then use some follow action logic to make it go off on its own

gonna be looking into true algorithmic composition tools in max/msp soon

but i recorded about 8 minutes of sound and then edited it down into something structural and with the themes i liked repeated more
