IAC Is Close To Acquiring Dating Startup HowAboutWe (IACI)
IAC, which owns dating properties Match.com, OK Cupid and the majority stake in Tinder, is close to acquiring New York startup for singles, HowAboutWe.
The deal has not yet been finalized, according to an e-mail Schechter sent to employees that was obtained by Enterprise Insider. It’s anticipated to close on Monday, at which point, a quantity of HowAboutWe employees could lose their jobs.

In the course of those meetings, the staffer mentioned they were notified they could be fired due to budgetary restrictions when the business transitions to IAC. The founders relayed that after Monday they would know “how numerous folks can stay.”
The meetings, which have been meant to prepare staff for potential subsequent actions, left employees feeling uncertain about what Monday will hold.
“You could just see people crying,” the staffer mentioned, later adding, “It was a quite slow, dragged out method of notifying people, which is awful.”
Schechter and Aaron Schildkrout also held a organization meeting Thursday at about five p.m. exactly where Schechter reiterated the prospective deal with IAC and possible, impending layoffs.

They mentioned there would be a “job fair” at the company Monday with recruiters from ZocDoc and that human sources had been trying to supply staffers with job listings. 
“Maybe this is how transparency works,” stated the staffer. “Maybe it really is much better than being laid off by a corporation that gives you no notice.” 
HowAboutWe and IAC have been in severe deal talks for the previous week. It’s unclear how considerably IAC will be paying for HowAboutWe, or if the brand will continue to standalone amongst the other dating brands in IAC’s portfolio.

Trades am 27.02.13 - Short LULU, IACI, Long DOW
Äh, hatten wir das nicht schon ?
Ja, und im Prinzip bleibt auch alles so wie vorher.
LULU und IACI Short wenn sie im 15 Minutenchart unter dem EMA9 fallen. Die ersten 15-30 Minuten wird jedenfalls erstmal abgewartet.
Sollten wider erwarten heute bullische Signale auftreten wäre der DOW Trade von vor 3 Tagen noch interessant.
Allerdings müsste die Werte etwas angepasst werden:
K: 31.16, Z: 31.59, S: 30.51
DOW müsste sich dann aber ausgehend vom gestrigen Schlusskurs in direkter Linie zum Kaufkurs bewegen. Stopp würde ich dann zum Eröffnungskurs und so schnell wie möglich zum Breakeven nachziehen.
Möglicherweise kann ich gar nicht traden da ich zwischen 15-20 Uhr vermutlich unterwegs sein werde, evtl. trade ich übers Iphone.
Trades am 26.02.13 - Short IACI, LULU
Leider bin ich etwas spät heute dran, deswegen keine Charts.
Irgendwie erwartet jeder das es nach unten geht, vermutlich wird es deshalb heute nach oben gehen. Trotzdem sind hier 2 interessante Short Trades die knapp an der Unterstützungslinie stehen, fällt die Unterstützung dann wird es weiter runter gehen.
LULU steht an der 65$ Linie, wird wohl gleich mit einem Gap nach oben eröffnen. Nach den ersten 15 Minuten Short wenn die nächste Candle nicht über das Hoch der ersten Candle kommt. Stop ist dann das Hoch der ersten Candle.
Übrigens, auch DOW, der Longtrade von gestern scheint heute mit einem Gap mehr als 3% im Plus zu eröffnen.
Ich shorte LULU und IACI sobald sie unter den EMA9 im 15 Minutenchart fallen.
