Everything that I’ve learned about Ian further proves that Amanda is exactly Ian’s type. He said Smash on Amanda during his funeral. He likes strong assertive women (as seen is one of Shayne Guesses), and have continuously pointed out Amanda’s strength in multiple videos. He finds great joy in teasing Amanda’s chronically offline-ness. He genuinely seems like he’s in awe during the Redacted and Sarah Christ smosh pit theatre. Oh he’d be SO into her if he wasn’t her boss and Amanda being married. Their dynamic is so incredibly intriguing to me I am OBSESSED

Like a Fool All Night (1.7k)

This wouldn't normally be weird. Smosh literally did a paid live event where the entire cast drank on camera with the intention of getting drunk for content and crew members often post clips on social media of employees being Iced during company parties, but the way Ian's knee is frantically bouncing up and down confirms that this situation is, in fact, weird. He is nervous to see Amanda, to be around her alone with nobody to run off to and distract him when his stomach begins churning with the thought of ending up right where he is now, by himself in Amanda's apartment that she invited him to willingly, without any obligation or reason to celebrate.

Ian is second guessing his judgment after agreeing to spend an evening alone with Amanda in her home.

First off, love the way you write lan/Amanda. So, I hope you don't mind me asking for another fic with that pairing! Also, sorry if this is a long ask, I'm not the best at explaining LOL

Maybe you can write the aftermath of lan's funeral roast, like when lan said "You scare me so much, SMASH." and after Amanda did her cute little victory dance, she said "I knew it, he's into it.", idk it just something to my little lan/Amanda brain.

So with that, maybe do like an aftermath where he's in his office and she strolls in and is like "heyyy" and he's like "oh shit." Maybe she teasing him about the comment, and they kiss (if you'd like them too, ofc, I like the spin you did on the last one!) If this isn’t too long, maybe you can have him overthinking the comment lol

What Ian sees is much worse than the scene any robber could have possibly left behind. Amanda is sitting on top of his desk with her legs crossed and dangling off the edge. She places both of her hands atop each other, resting them on her knee. Her posture is straighter than normal and she has on the glasses she wore during the roast while playing the character of Ian's mother. Amanda's bangs are pulled out of her face, the loose pieces tucked behind her ears. Right underneath the stray hairs is a pair of white pearl stud earrings. A silver cross necklace hangs from her neck, showing off her exposed collar bones in the wide-collar sweater she is wearing.

Ian has a lot of thoughts regarding the "smash or pass" section of his funeral's counter roast. He quickly learns that Amanda does too, much to his surprise.

I Want Your Midnights (1.5k)

Everyone is so happy. Why doesn’t Ian feel that way? He should. This whole thing was his idea, after all. His best friend is here, his girlfriend is here. So why is he standing alone in the middle of a crowded room biting his nails? Why is his head racing a thousand miles a minute, and why can’t he get his mind to stop for a second—just for a second, long enough for him to breathe?

Ian and Amanda spend midnight together on New Years in his home with the rest of the Smosh Family to bring in 2024 with a celebratory bang, except things do not go as planned for Ian despite his best efforts.
