This may not look like much but it is the transformation of Constance to Iarina. This is one of the first tunics I made in a period style. It's got flaws but it's comfy and washes well. When I went from Norman to Slavic for SCA persona I mostly just added accessories. I'm not much for a lot of embroidery but the Russian culture was much more colorful than the English and I wanted to actually start embellishing. Red trim is supposed to keep evil spirits from entering. Chain stitches are a good border on collars and cuffs. So here it is. #100daysofas #mysca #iamareenactor #scaslavic
