Despite that, it was distinctly melancholy, and it sounded as though this person might burst into tears at any moment. Of course, Stitches actually physically couldn’t cry, but that didn’t spare it being upset.

The Hatter blinked, he wasn’t expecting that answer. It was rare anyone serious was tossed into the brig, the tower was usually meant for serious offenders or worse: The Abyss. “…Are you are chain?” He asked, leaning back on his seat and squinting. He didn’t know why he bothered anymore. This eye wasn’t going to see anything anytime soon. “Existing is a pretty harsh crime around here, ne?”

"Whewhewhen you’re l-l-l-like meme it is-s-s-s," it answered, and slowly lurched to its feet. "I’m n-n-not a ch-ch-chain. I’m j-j-just nonot h-h-human," it explained, shuffling over to him with awkward movements that seemed less like a living being and more like an old wind-up doll. It came into the light, and…that is most certainly what it seemed to be, even its face was painted with an overly obvious pattern of stitches, like a ragdoll.

"Mmm? An automaton?" By the whirring of gears, he'd guess it was something mechanical. Poor thing. Automaton's when out of progress years ago. Though not as old as he, he was surprised anything like that still ran. "Why has Pandora kept you here?" Xerx mused, not really directing the question to the other as his sole dead eye rolled about the room blindly. "It's not like them to take people who've done nothing, no matter what you are. Perhaps they think you're lost property?"

Sasha looked at the paper while she sat in her car. A robotics expo, huh? Sasha didn't know what it was, but something about it made her insides feel weird. Yup, something was definitely off about it. She looked for the information she needed, set the paper aside and started driving to her destination.

After an hour drive, she found the place. It was in a big convention place. She saw signs that pointed her to the right direction. She walked in the room and went to the desk, paid the fee and signed up. She looked around at her surroundings, noticing robots.
