One of my favorite pieces in this update! I did this moon in a Van Gogh style and it is near and dear to my heart. This was painted with mostly Amaco Velvet underglazes. And then cleared with Amaco gloss glaze. After reading Van Gogh’s letters I really fell in love with many of his ideas and dreams. Beneath the crazy surface that is so often the focus of his personality, was a kind, loving, passionate man. He wanted a community of artists that supported and encouraged one another.
