Ini kitab Al-Muwatta Imam Malik, koleksi Islamic Art Museum Malaysia. Kitab yang Imam Syafi'i katakan sebagai kitab paling shahih setelah Kitabullah. Salah satu kitab hadits dari sembilan kitab hadits utama rujukan ulama sunni, Kutubut Tis'ah . Bayangin deh, jaman dulu nulis kitab itu bener-bener manual tulis tangan. Ga ada opsi ctrl + C, ctrl + V, ataupun ctrl + Z 😳😳😳 . Pasti dikerjakan dg penuh kehati-hatian, ketelitian, dan kesabaran yg tinggi. Saya sampai merinding membayangkan prosesnya 😳😳😳 . Wajar orang-orang terdahulu memiliki ketinggian sensitivitas terhadap seni dan keindahan. Dan penghargaan terhadap ilmu serta guru juga amat dijunjung tinggi. Adab sebelum ilmu, itu yg mereka junjung tinggi . Bisa dibayangkan upaya untuk menghasilkan kitab ini, puluhan tahun. Amatlah berbeda dengan effort kita menerbitkan dan mengkonsumsi buku di jaman yg semuanya serba mudah saat ini . Jalan-jalan ke Islamic Arts Museum dan melihat koleksi kitab-kitab ulama besar ini bikin saya jadi merenung.
