1. It makes sense, but consider splitting the first sentence into two parts (cut the first sentence at “and sexual behavior.” then begin another one).2. I can’t ever see a reason for a bolded comma. It sounds like an interesting study. - Kuzco

you definitely need that comma. i think it makes sense like, but it might be clearer if you swap the sentence around, like “in order to determine….., this research aims to examine all three of these variables.” and end it there.

i would separate them into two sentences where the comma is, or use a “;”
