On August 24th we will be teaming up with Team Gb and Toyota to get as many people as possible to take part in the nations biggest sports day. Events are being held nationwide to encourage people to become more active in their communities. At 10.30am on Saturday 24th we will be running a free 1 hour session with a mixture of freestyle martial arts and self defence suitable for all ages and abilities. The UK’s biggest ever sports day!

What is it? I am Team GB: a campaign by the National Lottery and ITV to get people involved in the UK’s biggest ever sports day, and raise awareness of the role of lottery funding in Team GB’s Olympic success.

It’s good because sports venues across the country were open free to the public all day long. ITV even switched off all their channels for an hour, showing their commitment to public health.
