Trailers : I AM TX (2019)
After a long pre-production process, a fever-pitch paced shoot and months of editing in conjunction with festival submissions, I am happy to announce that the ball is officially rolling with I AM TX, the short film directed by Austin-based artist Ryan Darbonne that I was lucky enough to star in beside Audrey Campbell of Pleasure Venom and Jonathan K. Horstmann of BLXPTN. The film focuses on a black punk rock trio returning home from a stint on the road, attempting to decompress from the madness that is their place in the broader music scene, only to arrive back home to deal with the madness that is their place in their own backyard.
The official world premier of the film will be at the 2019 Method Fest in Los Angeles, followed by screenings at the 2019 Indie Grits Festival in Columbia, South Carolina. More festival placements will be announced in the near future, as well as potential screening information for the Austin area and release information for the future.
