So many people with chronic illnesses tend to think of themselves as a burden on their loved ones . It is a common topic of conversation in groups I belong to and amongst my friends and family who have chronic illnesses . When I am feeling really low I too tend to think that way at times . It is difficult not to . It's important to remember that you are not a burden . You have a burden. Which by definition is too heavy to carry on your own .
