Some human piece of garbage locked this dog up in an abandoned/condemned house probably to leave and score some dope or to leave it there to die. Lexi had more balls than me to go into the house unarmed.
I understand theirs a homeless/affordable housing crisis.
I get that “Im not homeless so I wouldnt get it” but actually I would since Im a disabled vet and I wasnt always in the position I am in now.
I understand that just because someone has a drug problem doesnt make them a bad person, because I used to be a heroin addict due to this opiate crisis pushing my painmanagement dr out of his practice and forcing many chronic pain patients like me to either, commit suicide, go to heroin, get caught and go to jail, overdose and die, or get lucky like me and find a painmanagement dr who will treat me. BUUUUUTTTTTT........
You can still be a decent person and take your dog with you to score some drugs.
You can leave your dog with someone that you trust.
You can leave your dog water in a condemned house that still has running water and electricity and clean up the dope foil and used needles so the dog doesnt accidently walk through it and get stuck.
Either way Im sure someone is gunna be offended because thats the meaning of life these days to find as many things as possible to be offended at. Also Im pretty sure the dog was stolen. The dog is well fed, has a missing tag but a chain where the tag used to be, and it has a nice colar but not so nice leash.
EDIT: Wow so this was infact a stolen dog. If their was an award put out I didnt see it or care, but I bet this dog was stolen so it can magically reappear when an award was put out for the poor doggo. I really need to move from this town. Its getting worse.
Brain-Tumor Free for almost year now.
My body feels so weird because its going back to normal, but ive had the tumor for so long apparently that I forgot what normal is supposed to feel like. I eat 3x a day again, sex is a night and day difference, ive gained 30lbs of muscle barely lifting a finger, and my color is more even. Ill upload a photo later but before I moved my eyes were really sunk in, my skin pasty white, and I just looked really sickly.
Im like in a decent mood all the time now (: and its great. I really wish how I can put in words how great this is because I honestly feel like ive had Brain Cancer for years when I start comparing the last time I felt like this.
What kind of scares me the most is I am not sure all the things I said and did that made no sense at all and day by day Im sort of finding out.
Your Pituitary Gland controls nearly all the hormones in your body, and I had a piece of cancerous material the size of a grape on it. That tiny little bit of organic material put my life in danger and was slowly ruining my health. Because its so hard to catch until its doing some serious damage , I honestly thing Ive had this thing since early 2012. I just noticed that year my behaviour changed the most, I feel like I almost became a different person and I really dont know why either. I kinda became a mean person.......... I guess I know why now :/.
When is the VA gunna stop fucking with my life?
So i made first contact today with my fiduciary today and it was a fucking nightmare.
Me: So can you explain how all this works?
Her: So basically your VA check goes into my own account, and then I pay all your bills with it.
Me: So what about my personal needs?
Her: ill send you the 500$ that you states you needed during your interview.
Me: What? Just 500? I only have 2000$ in bills total including groceries. Where is the rest of the money gunna go?
Her: the rest that goes into the savings account, i get 4% a month of whatever is in the savings account.
Me: Wait, i was not told ANY of this during the interview. So if it goes into a savings account, do I have access to it?
Her: No, you are not entitled to see your finances, you were labled incompetant by the VA so I am in charge of your finances now.
Me: Excuse me? How do I know that it gets paid? I need to know that stuff. I have a mortgage and a car.
Her: You are not allowed to see your account.
(At this point my blood is a little below boiling)
Me: Okay so if I need money for groceries are you going to transfer it into my account?
Her: No, I am not.
Me: Okay so how am I supposed to go grocery shopping.
Her: if you have a problem call the feduciary hub.
(At this point i had to pass the phone off before I said something I would have regret)

Any Veteran reading this, let this be a warning of whats to come if the VA tries to give you a fiduciary. If they try GET A FUCKING LAWYER. DO NOT WAIT. I was lied to multiple times so its probably already too late for me, but if the VA says you need fiduciary with almost substantiated evidence like me, get a medical proffesional to confirm that despite your diagnosis of ptsd or whatever disorder you have, you are capable of handling your financial affairs.
As of Now i lost my firearm rights without even commiting a crime (i havnt even gotten a speeding ticket in 4 years), and without my day in court, and now I lost my financial managing rights. From what Im reading across the board, the fiduciary system is run by nothing but criminals who steal and scam veterans money on a daily basis. At this point, the woman controlling my finances probably wont let me get a lawyer. 4000$ of backpay is apparently missing because she also stated that I am not allowed to use any of my personal finances for 3 months. Today was my first contact with my financial manager and evidence is already pointing to my paychecks being stolen.
DO NOT LET THEM GIVE YOU FIDUCIARY.

Things have been going really well in my life. I have the most amazing partner, 7 cats, and house. Im so grateful for how good things are lately. I feel the need to express it but I also have this subconcious fear that by being thankful for my life and how much its come together in the past 6 months that something will happen. But id rather be grateful than not.
