Let me tell you... reviewing this took me 3-4 hours and I only covered five of like ten or twelve major motifs. But I have three more books to do so I may just read the book straight through and annotate if I get time tomorrow. Wish me luck!

After a quiet birthday with my family, I’m back to the homework grind. There’s so much to do and I refuse to cram last minute.
100 Days of Productivity (7/100): 8.16.2017 7:00 PM
I’ve had a really great day! The end of this week marks the beginning of truly-productive classes as we get out of the new-environment feeling and into actual work! I’m super excited, I’ve already sped-read Ethan Frome (though I don’t have to have it read until Monday), and I’ll do it again tomorrow to look for symbols and other literary stuff. I’m also working on my Biology infographic, where I have to make an info sheet about a scientist (I chose Leonardo Da Vinci!). The rest of my night will be jamming out to music, practicing on Duolingo, and reviewing for the SAT and ACT. If I have time, I’ll do a bit of bullet journaling!
5.15.2017 10:10 PM: Some recent note pages from just today of my Biology Chapter 2! I hope to finish it tomorrow and start Chapter 3. I’m also behind on all of my math reviews, so I hope I can get those finished in a timely fashion.
15 (M). What subject is hardest for you? How do you go about studying for it?
Probably Biology, just because it goes into really complex topics! My subjects come pretty naturally to me, but Biology always requires much more preparation because of the length and depth of each subject. This revision is basically how I study for it, I recopy diagrams and definitions and talk to people about it until I understand the processes.
Now, because I’ve been neglecting myself, I’m going to prepare for these coming days by going to bed at a decent hour, then waking up tomorrow and making myself tea and a good breakfast and lunch! :)
5.15.2017 11:45 PM: Hey, it’s still Tuesday B) Here’s some Biology I took during class! I’m only a couple of sections away from finishing the chapter right now. I need to finish it tonight and get three sections of my math review done tonight as well! My hope of going to bed at a decent hour will not be a reality tonight...
16 (Tu). What’s your favorite study method?
I love “teach someone/yourself” and rewriting. Rewriting/color-coding always helps me because I’m visual, and sometimes if I can’t get someone else to listen to me, I’ll record myself and then play it back and check for mistakes in my explanations. It really helps! Flashcards are my favorite for memorizing, tho. Or songs.
📚Hello!! I'm Anya! I live in Sweden and i am finishing up my first year of IB! I plan on studying math at uni, hopefully in the UK!
