Makin' Some Noise [Closed | Ibuki]
Man, there was nothing to do in this dumbass city. Well, alright, there were things to do, but they were things Noisemaster didn't want to do, like hang around coffee joints or go shopping for clothes or something else lame. As Noisemaster made his way down the sidewalk, keeping close to the storefronts so he wouldn't get stepped on accidentally, it struck him just how lame Hive City was. It was cold, it was grey, and it was totally boring. The only thing that was slightly interesting--but mostly frustrating--was the fact that the record store Noisemaster had passed on 12th Street in Sector 001 the day before had been replaced by a laundromat.
He wandered up and down the street a couple times with no luck. He'd heard that the buildings in Sector 001 moved, but it was something he told himself he'd believe when he saw it for himself. Well, here he was now. With a noise of frustration, he crossed the sidewalk and jumped up onto one of the numerous newspaper boxes lining the curb to take a break and get a better view. He sat down, looking both ways up and down the street, guessing at which way to go next. What caught his attention, though, was the crazy-haired girl some distance away. She definitely stood out in the crowd--not that Noisemaster was one to talk.
"Crazy style, yo," Noisemaster said to himself, but since he was practically incapable of keeping his voice down, his comment was loud enough for the girl to hear.
