This girl was obviously the embodiment of punk rock. Kiku had seen many, many types of fashion all throughout the world, but hers was striking and called out the attention of just about anyone that passed her by. There was also a guitar on her back as well. Was she into music?

Todomatsu thought of himself as someone good at placing people on the social hierarchy by just a single glance. Body language, fashion, and the way someone talked said a lot about them. Even as he’d run into colorful characters in Hive City, especially with having a job, he was able to place strangers accurately on his own little scale. This wasn’t an exception. The moment she walked into the bakery, Totty could tell she was a musician, if not an idol specifically. The girl just had that look, you know? And that meant she had to be popular, right? She looked like the kind that guys would fawn over... He’d have to be extra friendly. Todomatsu smoothed his smock, wore his best friendly smile, and put up a hand to welcome her. ❝ Hiii~ welcome to Spider Bites Bakery! What can I get you today? ❞

And there goes the girl in witches garb, falling seemingly out of nowhere and landing head first on the ground right in front of the rock star.

Coming home in the evening was usually just fine, but a worsening headache made it intolerable. Near home but without it being just around the corner, Makoto was forced to stop on the edge of the sidewalk, close his eyes, and put his hands over his ears.

It wasn’t enough to completely block off the cicadas, but it was a slight relief.

Sitting with crossed legs on a tree bench, Hajime tossed another sweetheart in his mouth. He had a small hoard in his hand, not here for the manipulated feelings most around him appeared to fall victim to. Every time his chest warmed strangely, it was time for another cheaply-made candy.

“Do you need one?” he asked the person passing by, holding out his hand.
