“You’ve heard correctly.” Arno grumbled slightly though without any real grumpiness. It wasn’t particularly common for Assassins to celebrate birthdays--not in a traditional sense. So while Arno did expect a nice sentiment, what he was not expecting was a box. He took it carefully, giving Evie a strange look in the process but he opened it all the same.
Awe. He blinked as he eyed the gauntlet in the box, speechless for a moment as he listened to her speak. He gave a little chuckle as he took it out of the box to inspect it closer. “Evie...” When he looked back at her and noticed the cupcake, he could not help his laugh, turning his face to return her kiss with one of his own. “This is... too kind. Exceptionally so. Thank you.”
